Is the Johnny Hardt you are referring to the son of the late Rev. Samuel Hardt? I was acquainted with the elder Hardt who was a fixture at late 20th Century Oregon District UPC events for many years. I believe he founded a Oneness church in Wisconsin (Racine?) back in the 1930s but only passed away five years ago. I always enjoyed visiting with him. Here is a link to his grave:
