Re: God created evil
My initial thoughts are,"What is their definition of evil."
Evil can mean destruction or calamity...It doesn't mean necessarily, that God has moral failings or is exhibiting aspects of other gods such as Loki the Norse god of mischief.
There were times that He was going to judge and destroy and because someone interceded and repented the Bible says that,"God repented the evil...."
Was God's judgement evil? No. God's judgement is holy and righteous but what He was about to cause to befall that that incurred His wrath was not something good...It was not a blessing and like I said, calamity is another word used for evil.
