The year of 9-11, I was able to go twice to NYC. Once, just days before the attack, and a month earlier to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While visiting the Empire State Building as my wife and I made our way to the observation deck...we heard a noise. It sounded familiar. When we turned around the corner, there were MANY Chinese visitors in matching T-shirts...holding hands and praying for the US....it was POWERFUL! I'll never forget the experience...
