Thus the Scripture in Gal. 4:6 that states that because we are sons God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying "Abba Father".
When Jesus came to John for baptism, He was already the child of God, having been born of the Spirit. When the Father said "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased" John knew full well the significance of that statement. Jesus was given power to act on behalf of His Father. And that's exactly how He described it as He went about His ministry. What He saw and heard from the Father is what He did.
This is the principle role of the Spirit in our lives as well!

Hmm, not a true son with inheritance rights until a certain age was reached? Interesting. Seems one can be "in the family" but not inherit until a specific instance occurs.
Refer to your previous post and see if you see the same question I do.
