Who here lives close to San Francisco or Silicon Valley?

We like our neighborhood so much we are thinking of just buying one of the houses next to ours someday rather than move out to the country where there is more land... In the long run it would be cheaper to just have 2 houses right next to each other. lol. We could have one big backyard, and use one garage as a workshop and the other for our cars. We both work from home so the other house could be our office and storage, etc. but to people driving by it would just look like another house.
