After much deliberation, the answer is.......

....neither.
The Apostle Paul proved that you can stay with the ship and save your neck at the same time (
Acts 27). Paul opposed the idea of leaving the ship while in unknown waters and in the midst of a raging storm. He predicted a bad outcome for any who tried it. However, when the ship later ran aground and broke into pieces, he did not hesitate to swim for shore.
I think right now the ship is in deep waters somewhere between Tulsa and Melita, and anytime the rain slacks a little I see fins in the water, but it's kind of difficult to tell the difference between the sharks and dolphins, so I'm going to ride out the storm and if the ship doesn't make it, I will swim for Melita!
