I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the result of so many years of people believing that sex was dirty and something that shouldn't be talked about openly. Once that wall of silence was broken through in the 60s a flood of sexuality hit this country like a tidal wave. It make take a generation or two for those waters to recede.
