If the law was a way for a nation to express his righteousness and nature to the world as God's chosen then I think much of it should be reflected in our lives. The law had many purposes and one was to reveal his nature to his people. I am not talking about doing these as unto righteousness but as a response of a good conscience before God.
Does the prophecy not say the law would be written on our heart. To say "law" is done away is misleading. A covenant can be done away but the nature/law of God does not. It if was bad for you then it is bad for you now.
Sure somethings are shadow and type but much in the MC is light!

L, the righteousness contained in the law has not been done away with. However, that righteousness is imputed to us through faith, not our keeping of the OT law.
