Obviously, I'm extrapolating at best, and perhaps just guessing as to the reasons for Prax's unfortunate experience.
Matt had just debated a Oneness (UPC) minister about a month ago in a formal debate held at his church in cental Idaho. It could be that some of the CARM staffers are sensitized to "OP rhetoric" - and face it, Prax is onery (just kidding there, little buddy).
I have found that any time I attempt to engage someone in the realm of "religious controversy" that I first go out of my way to be candid about my motives in speaking with them. Next I try to be as precise and simultaneously as kind as I can possibly muster. That is, I do if I want to keep the channels of communication open.
But even then, you will always meet folks that simply don't have the time or the patience to discuss your concerns. People are busy. You have to almost sell them on the idea that it's worth their time to hear you out. And that's usually a tough sell, no matter who your audience is.

I really think the mods just were over zealous. They gave no reason, no warning and after the fact I got this cryptic message and clearly if Diane really knew the reason she could give me an example.
