No, He doesn't. He doesn't force anyone to vote any certain way. Which is why a Christian better make sure, if they're going to vote, that they only vote for a candidate that is truly of God. Why? Because the Bible says that God puts whatever leader into office that He sees fit....
God alone put Pharaoh in power…
Exodus 9:16
(16) And in very deed for this cause have
I RAISED THEE UP, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
God alone put Nebuchadnezzar in power…
Jeremiah 27:5-6
(5) I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have
GIVEN IT UNTO WHOM IT SEEMED MEET UNTO ME.
(6) And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon,
MY SERVANT; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
This is what Paul said…
Colossians 1:16-17
(16) For
by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are
on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
(17) And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Colossians 2:9-10
(9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
(10) And ye are complete in him, which is
THE HEAD OF ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER:
Romans 13:1-3
(1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
FOR THERE IS NO POWER BUT OF GOD: THE POWERS THAT BE ARE ORDAINED OF GOD.
(2)
WHOSOEVER THEREFORE RESISTETH THE POWER, RESISTETH THE ORDINANCE OF GOD: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
(3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
1 Peter 2:13-17
(13) SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO EVERY ORDINANCE OF MAN FOR THE LORD'S SAKE: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
(14) Or unto governors,
AS UNTO THEM THAT ARE SENT BY HIM for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
(15) FOR SO IS THE WILL OF GOD, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
(16) As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
(17) Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
