But I'm not worried about it.
This whole thread was started up primarily because of a disagreement Mark and I had on another thread . If you were to look at that initial disagreement [over an Obama story in the news] you'd never think anyone would think to try to escalate things beyond that point. But this man decided to start up a new thread and chose to bad-mouth me over and over as a result of that. I couldn't believe this man would just be verbally hacking at me over some foolishness. Personally I find that kind of behavior disgraceful, especially coming from anyone professing Christ.
There's a part of him that wanted to come back at him with both guns blazing, because I'd had it
up to here with his mess. If I had said that night what I really felt like saying, his feelings would have really been hurt.
But I don't think that would have really helped. That would have just ended up adding gasoline to the fire. So sometimes you just have to bite your tongue a little, and do whatever to just put the fire out, which is what I chose to do. Like they say... let the Lord fight your battles.
It's just strange to me though how some people find this man's antics to be cute and/or amusing. To me, they're not cute at all. So I appreciate you stepping up and saying what you said there, sister. Bless you.
However, at this point, I don't want an apology from him. An apology has little value to me at this point. Sad to say, whatever level of respect I had for the man has greatly diminished. But at the end of the day... I'm not going to allow strangers on the internet to vex my spirit. I'm just going to have to learn to ignore certain people on AFF, that's all.
