While I'm not huge on numbers, it is true that things that are healthy have life and grow naturally. If one is a pastor of 30 in a town of 100, this is a different example. But if you are in a city of 1 million and you've only reached 30, you may want to eat a Passion bar and light a fire.

While I agree with Wholehearted (the poster) an very little, he has said his church is small (I "think" about 30 give or take a few). Some have used this against him and I took great exception to that since by his own admission the town he is in is also very small (a few hundred if I remember right). If 30% if a town went to my church I would consider that a success!
So SCALE is important.
