I agree with you Rhoni..intercessory prayer is a ministry. It can be extremely draining too. Hopefully if one is called to be an intercessor they are under the covering of their pastor. Also there is strength in numbers and hopefully there are several intercessors praying together. I found that God always made a way for the group I am a part of. If one was weak He gave strength to others and if the enemy came against one he had better look out because the mighty prayer warriors were on his trail. I no longer attend church with the women that I once prayed with, because, we moved out of state, but I still feel a deep deep connection with those women. Intercessory prayer ministry should not be entered into lightly and without much prayer. One places themselves as open targets in many heated spiritual battles. All that said I love the ministry of intercession , it has richly blessed my walk with Jesus. Sorry for the tangent....intercession is my passion.
