Re: Changing Denominations
Speaking of which...there is a church that is being destroyed, and another church being built up by the church being destroyed - here in the area. When Pastors consider a church "their church" then they react to situations using pride and not grace according to Galatians.
I was talking with a friend about the state of the churches, not just here inTexas, but all across the United States. All I can say is, "Lord Jesus please come". The saints are being worn out with all the 'junk'
One preacher friend told me the church being destroyed deserved it as they had not dress standards and they were not scriptually 'separate' from the world. He said this while justifying his own 'plight'. The reason the law had to be fulfilled in Christ is because you had to obey the whole law to be 'saved' and there is no one that can abide by the whole law.
The Bible states, "Every man is right in his own eyes". I would rather we each see each other through God's eyes! Mercy and compassion is what we all need and none of us are good enough to merit it. Thank God for Jesus.
Blessings, Rhoni
