Kool.
My advise in all of my 33 year old wisdom would be for her to think about what she really enjoys doing, then find a career to FIT THAT. You work for the rest of you life! You need to like it so you can enjoy the other areas of your life not be so down cuz you hate your job.
My first job out of school was NOT my highest offer. I wanted to do what seemed fun (and whats more fun than making bombs!!). It was more money than I had ever made anyway so that didnt matter to me.
Secondly, she sounds like she is pretty grounded, but still encourage her to follow her heart, and not what she thinks everyone expects from her. That makes a difference too in how we plan our lives....especially when you KNOW people are "watching" you.
If she wants to chat (or if you do) I can email you my personal email addy. I can keep my ear to the ground about some summer opportunites if I hear of any and pass them your way. Most of the time they cost, but not always a lot. And some times there is scholarship money involved.
