Star Wars Episode (whatever) The Empire Strikes Back
Darth Vader delivers the difficult truth to young Luke Skywalker that Vader is his father. Since Luke's mother died when he was young there is no Oedipal complex at work, but a more Titian Zeus versus Chronos kind of thing. Or not, but the light sabers were pretty cool back in the day.
Brokeback Mountain
Never saw this one and I don't wanna. The "truth" seems to have been pretty weird though.
Sponge Bob Square Pants
The truth is, Sponge Bob is a simple kitchen sponge made of synthetic cellulose fibers and not really a "sea creature" at all.
