Photoshop Tips?

I'm sure that there are some who are more Photoshop savvy than I, and I've just started using it for images. I'm getting better, but I'm wondering if there are any basic tips or tricks that anyone had to share. I'll attach some of the things that I've made in the last couple of days so that you can see what I use Photoshop for.
