I definitely agree that TV should be limited for kids, and nonexistent for the little ones. Who wants to plop their 2-year-old in front of a tv anyway? I loved playing with my kids at that age--they were always right with me or their Dad.

As far as the simplistic conclusion that TV is to blame for bad test scores and obesity? More likely it's a lack of parental involvement that led to TV-As-Babysitter that's a culprit, among other guilty parties.
