And there are some pretty ugly biases among homosexuals regarding straight people (and Christians). Biases are usually based on ignorance, hence my label of "idiot" rather than "straight." Plus, it has been my observation in at least a few cases that those with the most vitriolic responses to certain lifestyles are those who have had their own secret struggles.
There are idiots and extremists in every group. If this were about politics, then we wouldn't say that "conservatives" have a tendency to bomb abortion clinics; we'd say that zealots and extremists have that tendency. I have a problem with abortion clinics, but I'm not inclined to bomb one just because I'm politically and religiously conservative. Only a dolt would show such an inclination.
