Your question is stupid.
The companies that have abandoned these areas for overseas spots made the dollar the bottom line-- without regard to their countrymen and the communities their greed affected.

No. The companies that were forced out of these places were driven away by the greed of politicians and organized crime (labor unions). Tired of dealing with crooked politicians and the mob, these companies had to relocate or lose even more of their customers to Chinese manufacturing.

You go first. I have a desire for "cheap goods" like gasoline, affordable automobiles and I need a new blender right now. Kitchen appliances used to be made in upstate New York until the mafia and the Democrats took control.
Now I have to look for something made in China or Mexico. To be honest, it doesn't really matter to me where the blender is made. I just want the best one at the best price. This "desire" is called "hunger" and I can't really do anything about that.

Same thing with America's cheap goods habit. Instead of feeding the habit, we can penalize the "corporate dealers" for not doing the bulk of their business ops in America. Or they can move their ops back to the States where our citizens will be FORCED to pay a fair rate for the goods we desire.
This would not be an easy adjustment for many families who are at or near the poverty level-- or for the middle class for that matter. However, it is an adjustment that has to be made if we want to be less dependent on foreign labor.

I really didn't like the cozy way government and organized crime take control of private industry. You're probably too young to remember, but in my teens Detroit made lousy cars and charged exorbitant prices for those cars. Much of this money was then funneled through organized crime rackets and into the coffers of Democrat politicians. It was becoming a tyranny.
Then, these really cool Japanese cars showed up (Reagan's "free trade"). They had better electronics, they were more reliable to operate and they burned a whole lot less gas. Americans were given a choice for the first time. We could perpetuate the Democrat/Mafia institutions or we could save money and burn less gasoline at a time when gas was at a premium.
We've been doing that ever since. AND, the Democrat control of America began to unravel.
