I sang, "Iris" by GooGoo Dolls once in church in a special production we were doing. I had forgotten to print out the words, so I just grabbed my laptop, opened it up to the words, and sang away.

Just as I was headed into the second verse, the screen went blank. Dead battery. So the only thing I could do was turn around use the words that were being put on the wall for the audience to see. But the guy projecting the words wasn't going to put up verse II until I started. But I couldn't start.

The band played the interlude/intro over and over again just looking at me. It was awful. I've never even thought about using a laptop again.
