If one believes that parents should be forced to vaccinate their children in any case... then one believes that parents should be forced to vaccinate their children.
If a young girl can have an abortion without a parent's consent or even knowledge this shouldn't be too surprising.
However, I wish they would be more consistent since you still can't give a child an asprin without mom and or dad's approval.
Then the fact is... you do believe that parents should be forced to have vaccinations.
Land of the free huh?
When it effect the whole population, yes. Going back to polio, it was nearly wiped out but NOW it is starting to make a comeback because no one is vaccinated for it anymore. Small pox on the other hand WAS wiped out and probably only exists in a few hidden labs scattered around the world (and in some terrorists labs).
And again, if your one of the 1-2% who don't vaccinate your kids then you still benefit from the 98-99% who do.
How CAN it affect the whole population? Your kids (in this hypothetical scenario) were immunized. They can't catch it.
It can only affect those who were not immunized.

If it makes a rise then people will get vaccinated again. They have the vaccine and people who want it can have it. No problem.

Indeed. Is this why you want the other 1-2% forced to receive the shots against their will, beliefs and/or convictions?

Where is polio making a comeback? Last I heard it was only an issue in parts of Africa and parts of India. It was never eradicated as smallpox was.
And I'm anti-vax. If someone would like information as to why, I would highly recommend Sherri Tenpenny's book Saying No To Vaccines. She was an ER doctor that believed what the medical establishment was telling her, and when people came in to the ER with physical issues that happened a day or two after a vaccine, she would tell them it was just a coincidence. Until she went to a medical conference that discussed covering up vaccine related adverse reactions, and starting doing her own research.
It streeses me a lot when it comes time for my kids to get vaccinations. Especially the live vaccines.

The problem is that in previous generations, there were far fewer vaccines given. People still had adverse reactions, but on a smaller scale. According to the current CDC schedule, children should be given 31 vaccines by the time they are 2 yrs old. Multiply the number of vaccines and you multiply the number of adverse reactions. Auto immune diseases are on the rise in children, but of course, it's just a coincidence, along with the rise in autism and autism spectrum disorders.
