Exactly. And if you research the whole braided hair issue you will also find it was a cultural issue too. Not mere simple braids. It was not braiding hair. It was hair woven in elaborate braids with gold and other precious metals or gems.

Same is true with other issues. Was it a cultural thing then for women to not teach?

The point was being made for the women not to do things that would draw attention to themselves. That had nothing to do with their culture of the time.

I believe if you study it out, like the Holy kiss, you'd see that it had a lot to do with the culture at the time, what women were doing AND that a woman's emphasis should be the inward man, just as it should be for men too
