To be fair, the Y2K issue was legitimate to a degree. It just so happens that most of the real (important) code was fixed before the Dec 31, 1999. I was heavily involved with it at the time.

I strongly suspect the victim was in on it, and it was just an act. If not, yeah, it's about the meanest trick possible.
I got that vibe, too. (Also, the cameras didn't seem like the inconspicuous type.)

I think most of the Urshans were good story tellers! LOL
