Yes. So what does scripture state on how we become righteous?
Is becoming righteous the equivalent of attaining eternal life and/or gaining entrance into the kingdom of God and/or being "justified"? If so, then the list is huge. Not sure about a list that's more focused specifically on becoming righteous. Maybe I'll work on that, later. Meanwhile, here are a few ways to stay out of hell (the ultimate prize for any of the above!):
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. -- Romans 10:9
If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. -- John 8:51
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.-- Luke 18:29-30
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. -- Acts 2:38
He that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. -- Galatians 6:8
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. -- Matthew 10:37
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. -- Luke 14:26
A man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. -- Romans 3:28
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. -- James 2:24

1Peter3:18
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
Can an infant perform what is required to obtain righteousness at an age of infancy? If not, he is rendered unrighteous.
Before receiving God's righteousness we were dead in trespasses and sins. Unless a person is converted, they remain a sinner (Ephesians:1-3).
There are two classifications, righteous or unrighteous.
Paul also states in Ephesians 2:3, ....And were by nature the children of wrath..." It's is by nature, even at birth, we are children of wrath. There is only one remedy for that, the man Christ Jesus.

I suppose if you counted up the scriptures that support each side, your preferred side would win. Is that why you prefer it?

Yes. So what does scripture state on how we become righteous?
So weres the scripture that condems a baby to hell. i havent seen it yet.
Hope God has some mercy on you since you dont want to have mercy on babies.
I think austin answered it nicely.
Here is also a question. Since the baby has committed no transgression of the law would he need a sacrifice?
Because Jesus was the sacrifice for all sins, If the child who has been aborted or died in early years, the question is what sin has the baby committed in order to be redeemed from it?
its not my opinion im just dealing with a carnal minded person who cant grasp the fact a baby has committed no sin, and thus for some reason you deem fit to send it to hell.
Hell was created for the fallen angels. Lake of fire was created for the wicked. Now what wickedness has a baby done?

Your casting stones at babies dude,
As soon as you began answering the questions I've asked you, I'll be more than happy to respond to yours.
I've already answered a few of your questions, read back through the threads. You keep asking more question and refuse to answer mine. If you give answers you'll receive them. Again, please refer to scripture when answering my questions. Thank you.

Your casting stones at babies dude,
Here are two questions. You can search for the others on this thread. I'm leaving in a few and will return later.
Please solely answer the two questions only. Thank you.
Psalms 58:3
These wicked people are born sinners; even from birth they have lied and gone their own way.
Please describe David's comment of "people are born sinners."
David states in Psalms 51:5, "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me."
