i just showed that the word hate of the time had different meanings, and one has to use context to examine what is being said.
look at what i posted about rachel and leah, the same word yet Jacob didnt hate leah to a point he didnt sleep with her. cmon there is some applicable common sence in this.
do you also understand what a hyperbole is?
hy·per·bo·le/hīˈpərbəlē/Noun: Exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally
its expressions in writings. and the author of genesis stated jacob hated leah.
but it was not a hatred as we use today like muslims hate christians and want to kill them .... No it was a Love less
I love rachel more than i do leah.
so it has to be used in the context which is given, same goes for your point as well. i even showed you the lexicon definitions for some added spice
