That image in the common mind of "eternity" as somehow disconnected from the present, that place we'll all get to "someday;" well, as long as by "all" one means everyone who believes
our version of Christ, and, no matter what, as long as by "someday" you mean not now, but later, preferably (and almost universally) after one dies. That hallucination.
