I didn't say "you don't ever want to disagree with it," but "you have never disagreed with yourself with this voice," meaning that it came from the shoulder that always agrees, which is the best way I can explain it, but trust me when it happens to you, it is goose-bumps.

I perhaps misinterpreted you, but you didn't say that, either, verbatim. You said "you don't ever disagree with yourself with this voice". That could be taken in the way you restated, there, but I got the impression that it was a recommendation. Like "boy, let me tell ya, don't EVER disagree with THIS voice!"

Regardless, it's not true that I, myself, always believe my own voice, when I hear it say something in my head. It's odd that you would think you know otherwise. (Then again, a lot of things Christians think about other people are odd!)

The method is fool-proof, except for fools, and as evidence I present the relevant Bible verses. If you find that it doesn't edify you, then by all means don't use it! And don't expect it to provide irrefutable proof of God's existence if you currently doubt; this does not exist for that, I'm pretty sure.
And for future ref, nothing I ever say should provide proof, for a sensible person at least, that a Biblical method for anything, described in detail in the Bible, is not "fool-proof."

I see your reasoning here, Timmy, and I undertand it. I'd like to communicate to you, in any way possible, that if you keep looking for ways to possibly get zapped, then you will prolly get zapped, and I am sorry that Abba is presented to us like this, so that we become frozen out of fear. Trust that your father loves you, and you will demonstrate life, more abundantly when you forget most of the dung presented to you in "church."
Do you at least agree with the statement "It doesn't always work when people use it, and they don't know that it didn't work"?

Re: Politics is "Of the World?"

Hmm. No, I would say that done earnestly neither of these is possible. When you fix a spirit in your mind, and ask it if Jesus Christ is Lord, it will not be able to agree with you if it is not in agreement with God. "And they don't know it didn't work" isn't possible because you are going to get either some kind of reply, or silence, correct? Silence you may interpret as no agreement, while any reply may be interpreted. Strangely (to me) I've never gotten an evil-sounding non-agreement, half expected one at one time or another, but now I see this as...lack of access, protection. There is a wall, and it could only talk through a hole, lol. The non-agreer.

So if it failed, it was not done earnestly. Got it.

Ah, got you. I will say that since you do not always believe your own voice, which to me is a sign of the age of accountability, if you test a spirit because you want to know if it agrees with God or not, you will get an answer. If this is not true for anyone, and you can figure out AFF search to find this thread whenever, lol, I'd like to see any word to the contrary.

Casting lots, too. If you wish to know the will of God in a matter, rolling a die is an acceptable way. I repeat, if you use these frivolously, you will be sorry; I forget the lesson now, but it wasn't pleasant.

You haven't told us how to roll dice in an acceptable, that I recall. And you haven't responded to my suggested way, that I recall. (Roll a handful, ask God for all ones or all sixes? Remember?)

Yes, if you want to play craps, go to Vegas, is my response. Otherwise "Should I go left" can be odd, and "right" can be even, like that. You are simply allowing God to direct you without asking for a miracle, and if/when you assimilate these two, you will no longer need either one because it is a spirit of discernment, I am now seeing, and these are just training methods to recognize and assimilate a spirit that is right next to you already, I guess. Still useful for directing a group, dice that is, at first, but the same group together long enough would also dispense with the need, weird, huh? I remember a story, that I am just now realizing was making this point, also, lol...

Thought so. You have no intention of discovering whether you are deluded or not. You most likely know you are, but you like your delusion, and fully intend to keep acting as if it is true.

I'd say where that breaks down is, I can lie to you, but I can't lie to myself. I would not use this to influence anyone else anyway, it is only for me, so this pretty much moots any motive. At worst the Bible is mistaken and I am lying to you, and you have to decide this for yourself.
