Re: The Theology of Pain and Suffering?

The only interpretation of the Bible you will ever accept is the one you work out for yourself, and any dichotomy, or inconsistency, or contradiction you might find, which I would say defines...many people's view of the Bible, was given to you by something other than God, anyone should be able to see this, that the only discrepancies in your understanding of the Word are provided by other people, and you are correct in defying this. But pointing out a lie is not telling the truth, it is perpetuating the lie.

Unless, of course, they really are contradictions. Of course.

Oh, they are contradictions for all of humanity, ok? The fault lies with your set. Please make major adjustments, and test every adjustment. And of course, please recognize that customer service is doing their best, but they are after all minimum wage phone reps, and your best source is the original manual and experience. If you seek for the answer in the manual, you will find it in your experience; please note that you must experience, or they like to say around here "are you experienced?" not sure why, but that's what the master growers I'm reading say with a smile. You cannot find God all by yourself (your ship should be at sea). You have to find God all for yourself, and you are surrounded by Him right now.

Presuming I need to find God. Of course.

Everyone has free will, and the truth is not obscured, at least not for long. I no longer make assumptions for others, or try not to. Christ never cornered anyone, never "witnessed" in the manner a Christian would find acceptable today. I've learned the hard way that for me to have "life, more abundantly," I need Christ, not Christianity. "If your eye offends you, you better pluck that puppy out" speaks directly to this, for me. Of course, maybe for you this means to literally pluck your eye out, but see another possible interpretation for "eye." Gotta run! Peace!
