Re: Diet and Exercise

I have been reading that virtually all yellow corn is genetically modified (roundup ready). I minimize the amount of corn I eat because they say the pesticide gene stays in your gut. They do not know what GMO corn can do to the human body because they did few, if any studies on this subject.

Here is a good list of which foods are alkalizing and which are acid producing when eaten.
Incidentally, corn is acid producing.

Well I should be just fine, cause I don't believe in genes. (Disclaimer: If there was a wink without a thumbs up, I'd have put it.)
I took a look at the alkaline list...I can deal with green peas, lettuce, carrots. Other than that... to all the rest. I'm not very sensitive to food...I don't get noticeable energy from carbs, I don't sleep better drinking milk before bed...

Huh? I guess I must be dense because I am not following your not believing in genes? What is that supposed to mean? You don't believe that there is genetic manipulation of our food by Monsanto?

No but there are a lot of animal studies realted to feed corn and they are not good... And animals have a much shorter lifespan so less time for damage.
