Right now, it's #2 on the New York Times Paperback Nonfiction best sellers list, and high on a lot of other lists. The kids' version is #4 on Children's Picture Books.
Ahhh, I thought you were joking at first. lol
So can we start to expect merchandise such as coloring books, action figures, direct to DVD video's, and a marketing tie in with Taco Bell?
You're thinking too small! I'm talking blockbuster movies, a TV series, theme parks! How about a city? Heavenville, Colorado!
I don't know of a WHOLE theme park but I am sure there is room at Universal Studio's in Orlando, FL for a huge ride next to Harry Potter's Hogswarts castle.
As far as the movie, it is difficult to see How Peter Jackson could make it into a four film (each lasting a min of three hours) series, but if anyone can do it, HE can. And would the subsequent TV series bare any resemblance to the movies? Or would it be like comparing the Highlander movies (each of which conflicted with each other) from the TV show?

Ah, he can always just stick a couple vampires in it.
