I'm reserving opinions on the topic until the hysteria dies down and we can identify truth from fiction. Trying the case in the court of public opinion makes it more difficult for real justice to be served.
If I had not heard the 911 call for myself, I probably would not have said anything either way. I think you can hear some things for yourself and know that it is wrong. Either way, I hope real justice prevails and that somehow something can come out of this that might save others down the road.
