Who have i talked to thats black? no one, my state is 1 or 2 percent black so ,how many whites have you talked to about it ? Oh and BTW howe is this for shooting your theory down (no pun)http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/04/03...show-injuries/ This guy waa asking for trouble and he got it (he had been caught before with burglary tools) Again my point is when the details come out the white community will accept them as a whole, many in the black community ? they will riot !!! Canam - you are even starting to get on my nerves. You obviously have little to no involvement with the black community and I really fail to see what your point is or why you continue to post in this thread. Go read MLK's letter from the Birmingham jail and then bring something to the conversation.;

Yep, so if you have little to no involvement w the black community you dont know what your talking about eh ? im surprised you dont have to die before you can write an obituary in your mind!! BTW i dont have a very high opinion of MLK ,so i wont waste my time reading anything from someone who shouldnt be looked at as any kind of hero.Any christian who think he is worth looking up to, needs to rexamine their lifestyle. Try emulating someone like Bill Cosby or a host of others that didnt live a degenerate lifestyle.Put that in your pipe and puff on it !!

And I don't put MLK on anymore of a pedestal, than say Thomas Jefferson or Ben Franklin...
Whether you believe it or not, the 60's would have been a lot bloodier and messier, except for MLK.
My problem with you is your attitude.
You show a lack of respect and Christian civility in some of your postings.
I believe that you do have some valid points. However they are usually lost because of your general attitude and approach.
Just think about that for a little bit.
Most of us on this forum are here because of some basic beliefs.
If there are disagreements on some issues, I usually try to listen and either try to point out why I believe that I am right or just realize that we will never agree and let it go.
Sometimes I have let it get personal and I always regretted it.
So, I do not write this with anger or bitterness toward you.
More of a sadness that I cannot get you to understand how you are perceived by individuals who you hope to spend eternity with.

PS im about as mild as they come for this forum, given what i read on here for hate and vitriolic statements.Plain and simple i hate phonies and liars and we have gotten that ad nauseum, on this forum as it regards this subject, with the reprinting of the media lies,fraudulent audio and video tapes and race baiting on this subject.Someone needs to stand up for reality. Wow. Well I can say this: I don't think you're a phony or a liar, but there's a time when you should be smart enough keep your thoughts to yourself. The old cliche comes to mind -- "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

You need some personal filters. The fact that you think a thought doesn't make it worth sharing with the world.

You are very naive canam, both Jefferson and Franklin lived the same kind of lifestyle that you attribute to MLK, when they were living the highlife in Paris during the Revolutionary War. Most men are not saints, all are flawed, inspite of that fact, all three of these men served their generation and country in very substantial ways for the better. Inspite of their humanity.
