I am sorry you and probably some others took my post this way. I was not trying to be haughty. When I was his age, I thought I knew it all and I knew nothing. I had to go through a hard trial because I placed too much confidence in man. I learned the hard way, but I survived.

I was merely trying to encourage him to stand on his own two feet with Christ. That's all.

But like some of your posts, my posts may sound haughty, but in my heart it is not meaning to be haughty..just hard to convey in written terms what I am feeling.

I will try to keep in mind James 3:13 in future posts.

I'll give that to you Jabez. The written medium can be a difficult way to express ideas and I am chief among the miserable failures at it sometimes... I guess that what I was trying to convey to you was that while I largely agree with you in many ways you seem to somehow be trying to make an example of one man and his ideas... and I thought it might be time to let that go a little, KWIM? It is OK to to disagree with the principle of a thing without setting up against the person involved... I am sure if you watch me I will blow that somehow even before the week is out... but hey, feel free to call me on it when I do
