Personally, I don't think kids at 18 should be making firm decisions about their career (e.g., which degree they need). It's best to work on core curriculum and decide on specifics gradually as they are exposed to different interests and find out more about themselves and their abilities.
we are simpatico (sp?)! Bibleschool is great for what it is. But a minister needs to have secular education too.

I agree with this statement.

I also want to mention that all faiths have had a serious decline in teens staying in church after graduating from high school.

When isolating your kids there is two lines of thoughts. Keeping them isolated and grounded and then putting them in public I agree with more than dumping them in the public realm with no parenting and explaining what we believe and why we believe it. Peer pressure is a serious problem that I see includes the parents as much as the children.

I do have family that have so isolated their kids they will have shell shock when the real world hits them.
