Are you kidding me? I am sooooo thrilled and excited that there is a thread NOT about politics!!
My heart is very heavy tonight. Walt's cousin lost his 27 year old son to suicide this week. We had the funeral for him today. And then I got a call to tell me that a young man I had babysat for many years ago when he just a toddler took his own life today. What is going on? What is wrong with all these young men? Don't they understand the severity of their choice? Don't they realize the wide-spread effect of their choice? (one of them left a darling little daughter
and a fiance). I know I should feel bad for them that they felt so hopeless that they would take their own lives. But right now, I'm not sure I can muster that. Sorry. Pray for Walt's family and also for the Sharples family, please. Thanks.
Maybe politics would be a better thing to talk about, eh? Nah, the fact that Obama is still president is equally as depressing in my book. LOL
