So Bro. Sam are you saying that it was man made rules and no scriptures to back it? I understand that completely as I was taught a lot of things that had no scripture backing either. I still don't do 99% of what I was taught against but I don't criticize others. Thank you for clearing that up for me. We really can't preach against something if we don't have scripture to back it. That would adding to the Word. I always enjoy your posts as you always say everything with the Love of God. GOD BLESS.

To answer your original question, there most certainly is scripture against facial hair (and almost anything else). It is "Obey them that have the rule over you" followed closely by "Touch not mine anointed". In other words anything that isn't IN the Word directly but is taught over the pulpit falls under those two catch-all versus.
