I think Biblically speaking it is for that Church and affected parties to deal with alone.
That is, if one still beleives the Bible.
Here's a question, Ron:
If Paul had fornicated, would the "affected parties" list have included all the churches to whom he wrote letters?

I'll answer your question when you answer mine. (Obviously you aren't required to answer at all....)

It isn't moot; it was a hypothetical question. And you didn't answer it.

I'll answer it. Of course any answer is pretty much just opinion but I'll answer.
It is likely that the list of affected parties would have included all of those church that Paul had started and had ministered to.
But... once the appropriate reaction was transmitted to everyone there would, indeed, come a point where information becomes gossip right?
I think that the Bible does deal with tale bearers and many other similar works of the flesh.
So... the question would then be.... is what is currently going on in this forum concerning this topic a simple passing on of pertinent information that is relevant to the affected parties or has this devolved to tale bearing or other similar work of the flesh?
I don't believe that these things should, necessarily, be kept in the local church body. If this brother is going to be released then those with whom he might seek ministry opportunity need to be aware as well. But there is a place it leaves good information and becomes a gossip fest.
