The word "persons" is a human construct attempting to explain a concept.

The word "rapture" is highly un-biblical as well, using your logic.

In discussing the term "Trinity", was the word "persons" ever meant to denote a separation as separate as three separate people? I don't think so-- which is why most Trinitarian stuff I've read doesn't seem to present GOD as a committee.

Does anyone else ever find it comforting to dwell on the Father-hood of our God?

The term "persons" is actually a mistranslation. Tertullian actually said "personae."

God also doesn't have 'hands' or eyes... but He is given those attributes in speech to help us with our limited understanding of Spirit that can speak matter into existence. I'm not sure why OPs always feel they have to correct the 'persons' thing, even in something as simple as song lyrics... But if I sing "He's got the whole world, in his hands"... nobody stops the song to tell me God does NOT have hands.

Yes, me. I did not have an earthly father and really enjoy knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who watches over and protects me. Very comforting.

How do you think God walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve?

He was present in the garden with Adam and Eve. He didn't "walk" with them like Saruman the White walking with Gandolf.

My personal belief? Prepare to think I'm weirder than you probably already do...

I believe that before Adam and Eve disobeyed God they were much more spirit and much less flesh and were able to commune with God in a way that we can only aspire to today. Gods presence was very close... close enough to be felt as if He were walking beside them. Disobedience (sin) destroyed that when they put something between them and their Creator. We all do it today, putting things between us and God. But many of us who long for that closeness and I believe that in our quiet times, alone with God, we can push aside the separation and again 'walk' with God.

My favorite hymn is 'In the Garden', do you know it? I remember my Ma-maw and my Mama singing that song as if they believed Jesus walked with them... because He did... and for that to happen He didn't need to be more flesh and less spirit, they had be more spirit and less flesh.

Yes I know that song and have song it many many times.

I can see where you could conceive that idea. That scripture says He walked and talked to Adam and Eve on a daily basis.
