And we are taught that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
SO then it is that if I had truly repented, I would be with Christ. So if I still feel guilt/remorse/condemnation that I have not yet repented?

I thought I was getting so close to an understanding

Have you been baptized in the name of the Lord, calling upon his name, confessing Him publicly?

Surrender your feelings to His Word. Acknowledge that your feelings are irrelevent to the supremacy of God's Declarations in the Scripture. Let God's word be true, and every man a liar.

No, not at all. My point was that if you are feeling condemnation for something that has already been repented of / forgiven, than that condemnation is not coming from Jesus

I think you said something about reading Romans 6? The verse I quoted earlier is in Romans 8.

Oh, and in case you are wondering how you do if something has been forgiven?

1 John 1:8-9:

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

^^^ When I was a young teen (raised "on Sunday's we're Baptist"), a new preacher made it a mission to baptize the youth. So he baptized me, but I didn't decide to be baptized. I didn't even have any true understanding of what was even going on. So honestly, no.

^^^ I will read Romans 8 as well later today.

I have to get to class, but I do honestly thank both of you for your input on this matter
