^^ I would say "Check" except I still feel guilt, if not more guilt towards them. Does one still feel guilt or increased guilt or should we not even be recalling the past?

^^ I would say "Check", except my current knowledge on how to do so is limited to that of only what I've recently come to learn from Apo's, and what I had previously learned from Menno's (even though my limited Menno teachings are all under review.

I just want to point out that there is a difference between guilt and condemnation. The purpose of Guilt is to lead one to repentance and forgiveness. But condemnation, is when you continue to feel extreme guilt for behaviors /actions/choices in the past that you have already repented of and obtained forgiveness for.
And we are taught that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Oh...and I would add that surrendering self-rule is a continual life-long daily process. Was it Paul who said "I die daily"?
