For those not for the UPCI, what org and why?

You suggested home church to me way back and while I kind of resisted it at the time it turned out to be just right for us.

I definately feel what Randy is saying about the UPCI being more cultish back in the day... Now with the internet and groups like this I just don't think they can keep their hold on people the way they once did. However, there are still places where it is common (I live in one) to see some preachers hold their congregation virtual hostage with mind control techniques. Hopefully many more churches will find change and become more Christ centered and less pastor centered.

I personally just don't see that an org. that is the keeper of the truth could or would produce such rotten fruit... For me it feels the same as the RCC, another org. I put behind me and have not looked back at.

we disagree about the UPCI. I agree there are pockets of stupidity. but as a body the UPCI on balance does way more good than bad. I pray for and work for more good and less bad....from the inside...
