NT scripture reads that we, the church, are the Gods house, temple, and tabernacle, and Stephen was the first martyr in part trying to get that across. But I guess if Im in a deer stand and God meets me there, then my deer stand is Gods house. Or ill take my Gods House woth me to duck hint out of, cause I have a prayer meeting in a portable hunting blind. Or my buddy that God met while driving home in his old 77 Chevy pickup and got filled with the Holyghost, can put a big window sticker on his old Chevy that reads: God's house or Gods Tabernacle. EB, how about you tell your older saint that if she prays in the bathroom while fixing her hair to go to "Gods house", that if God was speaking to her, then she needs to start calling her bathroom Gods House or Gods Tabernacle cause he meets her there. How about I'm riding home everyday on a motorcycle, and Im talking to God and He's talking to me, he meets me there on that motorcycle in the way home from work everyday, now I'm going to ride the Gods House home, why not if that's where I meet him daily?
U fellas can keep calling a man made bldg, the church or Gods tabernacle all day long, U can call a cow a goat till hell freezes over, but that doesn't make it true. How about you just let scripture be true, instead of traditional nonsense, and stick with what Peter and Paul says was THE (not one of the) house of God?
Tell u what, IMO, when if Paul and Peter were here, and some little ol lady was all the time calling a bldg, whether a bathroom or a cathedral, Gods House(standing on Holy Ground mindset) I think in love he'd realign her understanding "when I said you ought to behave in the house of God, which is THE CHURCH, I wasn't talking about no bldg, cause the bldg is not the church". And the OT temple is not a type and shadow of some man made cathedral, but rather a type and shadow of a bldg not made with hands, so please don't confuse things and call it or try to make it something it's not.
I've been too busy to reply to your posts cause of men's conference, doesn't mean you boys are right, but hey just keep hi fiving eachother and trying to convince yourselves you are. Keep "shaking your fist"(right prax?) saying see there, if God meets you there, then call that bldg (or motorcycle or car or bathroom) Gods House by golly!
