Re: I hate you all!!!
Well, since we are placing out preferences, I don't like restaurants at all. The only reason I go, is because my family insists. But I usually can find more on a Buffet than other places.
When you make your own bread with whole wheat flour, anything made with white flour tastes like paste. When you cook your vegetables just right, the overcooked, watery vegetables just barely resemble homemade. I use very little sugar, and a lot of honey, so their desserts are oversweet
It's a wonder that my kids still asks me out, but I think they must love their momma. But what has this got to do with Ferd still 'hating us all?”

I like Papadeaux's, Texas Roadhouse, Cheddars, Texas De Brazil, and Waffle House for it's atmosphere.

Not sure where you get that the question was a touchy one for me, but in all honesty, do people ever watch skinny people eating? Do they ever scrutinize what they have in their grocery cart?
I just thought it was funny that you say MOST as if MOST people who attend the buffet are fatsos. In addition, you seemed to know a lot about their habits outside of the place you were watching them and documenting what they were doing and coming up with your statistics.
Touchy? No. I was quite amused that you would go somewhere to eat and get the conclusions you did. You shouldn't go to those eating places alone.

I like buffets because I like the variety, but Cracker Barrel is probably my favorite.
I heard Ferd likes Hooters for their wings.

Simply because you addressed it in two separate posts. You also mentioned skinny people more than once, but I won't write my thoughts on that.

1) The few times my wife, daughter and I went to GC this year it was packed with, as you say, fatsos. Maybe the next time we go I'll take pictures to prove it to you.
2) Statistics? Please. I didn't use anything other than common sense. Common sense should tell you that a person at a buffet (with its multitude of choices) will eat much more than when at home with one main dish and a couple side dishes. Are you really going to argue that people will not eat more food at a buffet than they do at home? If you believe that, I have beachfront property here in AZ I'll sell you.
3) It doesn't take much to see people at the tables next to you and nearby are getting up and going back to the buffet more than once. Two eyes and a brain, that's it. I'm pretty sure one eye would even be enough to do that. You make it seem like one has to sit in a corner with an iPad for several hours, watching every single move people make. Again, if you believe that, there's a beach house in Payson, just north of PHX, you can buy for cheap!

i think Ferd is saying that Pentecostal Blue was either radiating that, or that he was projecting that onto her; but for something to come to mind, there is generally a similarity presented which evokes the thought.

1. I have noticed that people write about the fatsos in the UPC and such as if they are the majority. In fact, it's pretty much about how people will talk about the bad things that happen during a full moon...the reality is, we only remember the bad stuff during the full moon but don't remember that it happens all the other moons too.
2. Common sense tells you that people eat more at a buffet than at home? Isn't home pretty much a buffet there too? I mean, I have two pantries full of food, two freezers, and a large fridge. In addition, I have food in other cabinets for easy use. I can sit here and eat all day for free with the food available here. When I'm hungry, I eat. If I'm still hungry when my plate is done, I'll eat more. I'll do that when I'm at home and I'll do that when I'm out. Buffet or not, I don't leave the table hungry. Common sense, if we can use that here, tells me most people do the same.
3. While I'm a people watcher, I'm not that engrossed in noticing how much they are eating or how many times they attend the bar to get more, nor do I notice how much food they leave on the table or how much is on their plate. As for the house near PHX, I'll take it!!

Sasha, please tell me you're just joking around with me. I mean, I'm finding it really hard to believe you're actually serious with what you post here. "Isn't home pretty much a buffet?" Uhm, sure if you cook all the food you have in both pantries, freezers, and refrigerator! If you can't understand that people will eat more of what is immediately available at a buffet, than they will of one main dish and a couple side dishes at home...then I can't help you. People will pay $16 for a buffet, then make sure they get their $16 worth by eating more than one main course, and more then one or two sides. It's simply a proven fact.
