Okay but, two things.
1. What was the unclean thing being talked about here to separate from? It was idols. Depending on the interpretation of what an idol might be, this could be a huge, huge difference. For example, some might interpret using the following of the "rules" (whatever the sect interprets that as) of the Bible as being held higher than God's directives to a person and that a person should not idolize the "rules" to that extent. Others would use this scripture on every little thing, like a jack o' lantern could be an "idol" that one was worshiping.
2. Can you find two directives for the New Testament church to be separate? Or is this the only verse in the New Testament that speaks of such to the church?
