God put hair on our legs and under our arm pits...wonder if we are not supposed to cut those either. LOL I'm not saying that to start any kind of debate (by the way I do shave. LOL) I was wondering something..and I'm not asking this to challenge anyone's beliefs.. I'm new here after all and do not want to ruffle feathers, but is there an actual verse in the Bible that says if a woman cuts her hair she will go to hell? I have read all the verses about long hair but to go as far as making it a salvation issue? There are so many other verses in the Bible that people choose not to obey saying they are not relevant for today. If following rules is what is going to get us to heaven then we are all in trouble because if you are going to follow one you better be willing to follow them all. Every church I have been to, whether Pentecostal or Trinitarian the women all talk in church, yet in the same section where Paul was talking about hair he says women are to be silent in church. I think it is wonderful if a woman grows her hair long to honor God, but i have seen so many that are vain about their hair..they take hours primping before church to get their hair just right..that does not seem very modest to those who witness it. if the long hair is the woman's glory what if she is supposed to always have it down? what if having it up is the same as having it short? that would stink. lol Bottom line.. I think if a person is going to grow their hair they need to check their hearts and know exactly why they are doing it...for their own glory so others will admire it or for God's glory.
