They grabbed handfuls of hair, bro.
Early church writings mock the idea of a beardless man.

And where does it say they grabbed handfuls of hair??????????????
Are you reading the Reversed version?????
You can pluck my beard with one or two days growth.
Do I think he wore a beard? Probably that is NOT the point you are making statements that are nothing but assumptions and stating them as fact. And you have NO fact in scripture Jesus wore a beard. Again he probably did but you cannot prove it.

Think about it. What you refer to totally different from the issue of beards in church.
When the bible does not speak against beards, and when the only reason for a Christian to not wear one is some silly idea that over 40 years ago hippies wore beards, then there is no comparison.
The reason the military refuses beards is totally different in very reasonability from the very mindset as to why some groups claim christians should not wear them. If the civil law legislated something that was genuinely stupid, then the people would revolt and have a right to. But most civil governments are not that silly to begin with.

I do have statements. He had enough hair on his cheeks that could be plucked> Has to be a beard. Nothing else makes sense.

History and culture has no bearing on it... only because it would fly in the face of their messed up ideology.

I disagree. NO ONE has a beard that overnight could be "plucked" with hands, as you must claim Jesus grew one overnight.

1) To polish, to sharpen a sword
2) To make one's head smooth. To make bald. To tear out, to pluck the hair in contending; in chastening; in scorn, in mouring;
Doesn't sound like stubble to me.
