Nothing is stopping any of you from signing up. Why would you be afraid? You just need to know your book and declare your stand and match your stand with your book.

I believe you asked how long you would last if you got on a Muslim forum and started in on them. My answer was you can debate them eternally if you wish.
You can probably interpret that as "enlisting" however the intention was to specifically answer the question.
