If you or I are adding or taking away from the book of Rev. we will go straight to hell.

This is not a game to me.

I would not even read this book if I thought dabbling with it improperly would send me to hell.

If you want to take a chance with this kinda stuff.....2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the (DELETE-Church), which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the (DELETE Church) were for the healing of the nations.

In my opinion, we must ever so carefully express our "opinions" about this book, and not haphazardly reinterpret the clear words of it, as this preterist interpretation above shows us.

I really want us to be saved my brother. Please hear my advice at least.
Bowas is saved, and you are refusing to answer his questions.

Sean, what a comeback, instead of dealing with the questions concerning eschatology you just fall apart and curse your opponents out. So, God is going to force His creation to love Him? What to at least explain that doctrine?

Please explain your view/interpretation of these 2 verses he mentioned, Sean.

The Lord brings heavenly ordained vengeance against Idumea, Moab, and its capital Bozrah. The bathing of the sword is actually the same as God's arrows drunk with blood in Deuteronomy 32:42.

Re: Some standing here

I was talking to Sean.

I was curious to see his view regarding literal or symbolic explanation of those verses.

We are dealing with the Book of Revelation, shag.

The rules are different for this book.

It is frightening, thinking of the warning here.....

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Lets stick to the rules of this book, okay.(no other book says such a warning)

Yeah sure.

Ok. The rules are different? And we are to follow "the rule maker?" I'm still trying to see the rules in some sort of a consistent manner, so how can one know what the rules are?
I know we all are serious on not adding to or taking away, so not sure why you implied there may be some here that take His word lightly.

I am serious when I say this, but I, so far anyway, cannot see a clear pattern to follow or a solid set of rules to follow in interpreting the Bible, and now you say the rules are different?
See my confusion?
If the rules change, there has to be a reason, but also a precedent for the change.
You realize there are some out there that say the rules have changed from the salvational formula of Acts 2:38 and they have never been able to explain how or when the rules change, but mostly just because that is what they believe.
I will wait to see it you can validate your rules that change, or seem to change, based on the intended outcome.
I need consistency.
