Re: Some standing here

Sean Isaiah 34:5-6 is it symbolic or literal?

Re: Some standing here

Sean. You totally moved on and explained something no one asked about. I was trying to absorb your rules of interpretation, that if it proceeds from the body it is literal, but if it doesn't, it is symbolic.

The horse does not proceed from Him, as He is just sitting on it so how can that be literal? The firey eyes must be literal fire eyes, because they proceed from Him.

Do you have other rules I can follow that cannot be misconstrued as being subjective I can follow them?

You did see where "TREADETH" does in fact mean stomping? I even put a picture to show what a winepress that one treads on is.

Clint Howard, but was ugly, and Ron was a better looking kid, so he did better.
In fact Clint was so ugly they teamed him up with a bear.

Re: Some standing here

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS . . . And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

Revelation 19:11-16, 19

Now His eyes are literal torches and He is literally slashing with His sword tongue. But everything else that isn't proceeding out from Jesus' body isn't literal but symbolic? Is that correct Mr Sean "Eschatology" Yodkonavich?

He got some steady work from Star Trek, maybe because he didn't need much makeup?

Bowas, the simple rule is make the passage NOT say something entirely different.

The rule is simply given by the rule maker.....

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

If you or I are adding or taking away from the book of Rev. we will go straight to hell.

This is not a game to me.

I would not even read this book if I thought dabbling with it improperly would send me to hell.

If you want to take a chance with this kinda stuff.....2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the (DELETE-Church), which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the (DELETE Church) were for the healing of the nations.

In my opinion, we must ever so carefully express our "opinions" about this book, and not haphazardly reinterpret the clear words of it, as this preterist interpretation above shows us.

I really want us to be saved my brother. Please hear my advice at least.
